My little monkey

Tonight the moms group I started had a play group at the lake that's connected to my housing development.

It was a lot of fun! Wesley LOVED being outside. Michael tagged along as well as one of the other moms husbands.

Well, Michael put Wesley in the tree (and he loved it!) and the other dad snapped this picture (click on the picture to enlarge it and really see Wesley's cute face) -

I still cannot believe how big my little boy is getting. He's has had a really big growth spurt, and is starting to get pretty tall. He is still very thin, with big chubby cheeks. He's adorable.

Everday he is learning new things, and we are growing closer together as mother and son. It's a beautiful relationship I cherish so much.

Now for funny story time!

The other day I was on the phone with my mom, and he wanted to talk to her so I gave him my cell phone. When I gave him the phone he said hello, then smiled REALLY big when he heard HIS Wella's voice, then he took of RUNNING across the house, ran into my room, and slammed the door shut. Of course I ran after him (to make sure he didn't mess the phone up). I open the door and he is chatting it up with my mom, he looks up at me, puts the phone to the side, points to the door, and says, "No Mommy, you go sit on the sofa". I couldn't believe it! He wanted to talk to my mom all by himself, and didn't want me taking the phone away.

He is full of cute stuff like this.

Yesterday I was peeking in his room while he was playing and he was playing with a little door on a toy he has and saying, "Come in!" then he would put his finger in the door and say, "Hi Mr. Finger!" (like Mr. Noodle from Elmo - for those of you fellow mommies who watch that). It was precious!

I will try to take more pictures as soon as I can!

Video!!

So here is a little video of Wesley's room, and then a little footage of him as well. The battery died on the camera... so that's why it cuts off... sorry!

I hope everyone enjoys our little prince!
