Today was Michael's LAST final in law school - which of course means... he's DONE!!!

We are so happy and excited for all the new and great things that are to come in our lives. It's been a long road (law school) and we can't believe we're done.

We went to dinner tonight to celebrate Michael's great accomplishment! His graduation will be in two weeks and I can't wait to see him in his cap and gown.

We don't have a lot of pictures of us together, so we decided to take a couple of us today so we can always remember how happy we were the day he finished school!

These are our "We're so happy it's over" faces!

This is Wesley's behavior chart that I made to help motivate him to make good choices through out the day, and so far, it's working! He has a green card with a happy face, a yellow card with a not so happy face, and a red card with a very sad face. When he's good, he's on green, when he starts making bad choices he gets yellow, and red when he has just not been being good at all. When he's on a red, he loses privileges. It's been working like a charm! As you can see, he was on a yellow when I took this picture. Haha

Now for Wesley's BIG announcement... he is POTTY TRAINED!!!! He wanted to take pictures in his big boy undies (Disney Cars) and show everyone what a big boy he is. Here is having a blast dancing in the living room on his little stage.
He wanted to take a picture with Mommy, and I was all for that, as he normally wont sit still!

Here I told him to pose for the camera so everyone could see his big boy undies, and this was his pose! How funny is that! He looks like he is modeling CK Mens Underwear

Now this picture says it all... all he said to me was, "Mommy... I gotta go!" and off he went!
This was taken at Michael's brother's wedding at the Baptist Church. Michael was in the wedding, so he got to wear a tux, and he looked so handsome! Wesley got a chance to wear his cute little man suit.
Michael and I.

This is my sister in law Allison and I. She took this picture and I think it turned out cute. She is A LOT taller than me if you can't tell!

I've been asked where pictures are - so here you go!

Rub-a-dub-dub in mommy and daddy's nice big tub!
Best friends! Wesley loves Rue and is ALWAYS hanging all over him.
This was too cute not to post. Haha! He was putting together his train tracks and I happen to catch this and had to snap a picture. I've got to have something to show his girlfriends someday, right?
Requested belly shots of me - in my 30th week.
And last but NOT least... Michael's graduation picture! Isn't he handsome!?! Some of you will be getting his graduation announcement in the mail any day, with this very picture for you to put on your fridge and be oh so proud of him!
After his graduation, I will post lots of pictures of the ceremony and him in his cap and gown! I am so proud of him. It has been a long road these past three years, but he made it, and I don't think I have ever admired someone more than I do him. He's an amazing man and a great example to Wesley and I.
Way to go Michael!

So as we were eating dinner tonight Wesley was pleading his case to me about eating ice cream for dessert. He ever so sweetly looked at me and said, "Mommy, I want to tell you something... Jesus like's to eat ice cream".

Needless to say, he had a small bowl of vanilla ice cream for dessert :-)

As many of you have heard, our area of the country was hit with a 5.2 earthquake this morning.
We felt it here in our city! It was about 5:37am and as always, I woke up to use the bathroom (pregnant bladder!) and when I was in the bathroom, the toilet started shaking and I could hear an odd noise. I could feel the floor shaking too. It lasted about 30 seconds.

The noise I heard is hard to describe - it was kind of like a rumbling.

I've been through small ones like this before when I lived in the west, so I was thinking it was an earthquake, but then I thought there was no way - I live in the east!

Well, this morning on the news they confirmed my suspicion that is was an earthquake. Just goes to show you're not safe from these kinds of things no matter where you live.
This is a picture of some local damage from the quake.

No pictures for this blog update - but I don't think you would want them after you read this little story...

Wesley was doing GREAT with potty training... until about a week or so ago.

Yesterday Wesley came to me and told me he went poo-poo in the potty, and I was so proud! I followed him to the bathroom to help him wipe his little bottom only to see that he actually went poo-poo in his pull-up and put the pull-up in the potty!

So after talking with him he agreed it was a bad choice and that he wouldn't do that again.

Well, last night he wanted to take a bubble bath in our bathtub, so I thought, sure, what the heck, it's bigger than his and he loves to splash around!

As he soaked in the tub and played he was having lots of fun, but the fun ended when he decided to go poo-poo in the tub. He got out quickly, got toilet paper, and tried to put it in the trash. It was a mess to say the least! Picture it... little 3 year old Wesley, soaking wet, getting in and out of the tub with soaked toilet paper, carrying his mess to the trash, getting water and his mess all over the place!

It sure was fun to clean that up! Thank goodness for Clorox Bleach and sanitary wipes!

This potty training thing has really got Michael and I stumped! He was doing great, but all of a sudden he just doesn't want to try anymore.

We are thinking it has something to do with the fact that he fell in the toilet at his Grandma and Grandpa Loesevitz's house... who knows!

Wish us luck... we need it!

(Now aren't you glad I didn't post pictures?!?!)

Sorry, no pictures this time, but I have a cute little story to share about my ever so clever 3 year old son.

This morning he woke up before me, and instead of coming into my room and crawling into bed with me (which is the normal routine) he thought it would be a good idea to fix himself breakfast.

Yes, you heard right, three year old little Wesley made himself breakfast.

When he did finally come into my room he told me he had ice cream for breakfast.

I didn't take him seriously of course, but then I went into the dining room to find my HUGE bright orange mixing bowl on the table, with Wesley spoon at the bottom in a puddle of melted ice cream, and next to the bowl... well, a huge carton of triple brownie ice cream of course!

I kept thinking there was no way he did this by himself, but then I looked to the kitchen and saw his little stool (which is SUPPOSED to be used in the bathroom so he can reach the sink to brush his teeth!) right next to the fridge.

So yes, he did it, all by himself. The crazy thing is, he didn't make a mess. He actually scooped the ice cream out of the carton, got it into the bowl, ate it, and had maybe two little drops of ice cream on the table.

Needless to say, tonight before bed I hid all the ice cream behind frozen veggies and meat, so tomorrow morning if he tries to be sneaky again, he hopefully wont succeed!
