I thought I would post some pictures from the hospital that we took with a film camera.

This is Sophia right after she was born getting all cleaned up and checked out by her doctor (and our friend) Dr. Barns (Brooke).

Now here are some pictures of Sophia with Michael's family.

Sophia with Michael's youngest brother Chris

Sophia with her Uncle Daniel

This was taken at the airport... it's the first time Michael's mom met Sophia!

Isn't this adorable? Wesley wanted to give his baby sister a big kiss and it looks like she wanted to give him a big kiss too!

Perfect picture!

I took this picture on my cell phone and it came out so cute!

I love it so much I added it to the sidebar of our blog as a permanent picture!

This morning I was sitting in bed cuddling Sophia and Wesley was begging me to hold her. He loved it, but she wasn't so happy about being all scrunched up in his lap!

You've got to click on this picture to make it bigger... check out her precious little smile!
Does she look like an angel or what!
Silly girl!
You've gotta love that look - it means "Where's the milk?!?"
Wesley was being shy (he is NEVER shy when it comes to the camera!) last night.
My sleeping beauty!

Sophia and Mommy

So I have been hearing how much Sophia looks like me, and I have been doubting it, so for fun I thought I would post pictures of myself as a baby to compare to Sophia!

You will have to judge for yourself :-)

My friend took some pictures of Sophia a few days ago and emailed them to me, so here they are. (I do have to admit that I feel bad about there being so many pictures of Sophia lately - and so few of Wesley - so I will make sure to post more pictures of him!)

Again, don't pay attention to the dates on the pictures - they are obviously incorrect. (I did fix the date on my camera tonight, so the date will be correct next time.)

So - having two kids is not as easy as I thought it was going to be (Janet warned me). Though it's keeping me on my toes, I am enjoying being a mother of two.

Both Wesley and Sophia are so beautiful and they bring so much joy to our family. It's so weird, it seems hard to imagine our lives before we had them.

So, my sister has been here since Thursday of last week and she leaves tomorrow morning. It's been a blast having her here. She has been an extra set of hands with the kids and it's been a huge help. She's taught me a couple of tricks with the kiddos that will come in VERY handy.

I am so glad she came to visit and will miss her when she leaves.

Now for pictures of my little angels!

Sophia's enjoying her little activity thingy
Hmmm.... guess it's not as much fun as we thought it would be
Ah... bath time... that's better...
Who couldn't resist going to sleep after getting a belly full of milk and a nice warm bath (plus a baby massage from her Aunt Tammy!)
And words can't even describe how much I love this picture!

Here are a couple of pictures I took after Sophia's bubble bath tonight... isn't she adorable??

She looks like she's saying "Hey, I have an idea!"

These are some pictures we took after Sophia's bubble bath tonight - isn't she adorable!?!

First of all -

I don't have a lot of time to make this post - but I'll try to explain the pictures.

Sophia of course!
Sleeping and looking oh so adorable!
Close up
Wesley in the tub with his whale (which he calls his "wheel")
Notice the little red cup on his head - his whale has a blue cup on his fin as well - they were wearing "party hats" according to Wesley.
Our little princess (she's a lot like her mommy already - so serious looking - but I get it from my dad!)
Big brother and little sister
Wesley and Sophia
Her first bath!
Cute again!

She loves to sleep... just not at night!
No he's not eating her - he's giving her a kiss - just a big wet one!
He loves to smile for the camera
Love that hair!
Hanging out with her daddy

Sorry there's not more... this will have to do for now!
